Company Description Ankit Metal and Power Limited is a prominent figure in the Iron & Steel sector, renowned for its high-quality Ferro Alloy products for the steel industry in India and globally. The company operates an integrated steel plant in Jorehira, Bankura District, West Bengal, with facilities to produce sponge iron, pig iron, M.S. ingots, billets, pellets, and rolled products. With a capacity of 100,000 MTPA of TMT bars, the plant also includes a 12.5 MW captive power plant, leveraging both Waste Heat Recovery and AFBC. The plant benefits from its strategic location close to coal reserves and excellent connectivity via highways, railways, and ports. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Diploma Engineer Trainee located in Purulia. The Diploma Engineer Trainee will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the manufacturing process, monitoring and maintaining equipment, ensuring quality control, and adhering to safety protocols. The role includes hands-on training and development to understand the intricacies of production workflow, troubleshooting issues, and implementing efficient work practices. Qualifications Technical skills in mechanical, electrical, or production engineering Knowledge of quality control and safety protocols Ability to operate and maintain manufacturing equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent teamwork and communication skills Willingness to work on-site in Purulia Relevant Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) Prior experience in the iron and steel sector is a plus
