ABOUT US:
Sarvoham Welfare Trust is a charitable organization dedicated to the welfare of under-privileged animals in Bangalore, India. Sarvoham was established in April 2017 by co-founders Haris Ali & Madhusmita Sahu with a vision to create an inclusive eco-system that co-exists with animals providing them a respectable life that contributes to the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) frameworks and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs’) for the planet.
Over the past 9 years, Sarvoham has grown from a small charity effort to a well-established animal welfare organization. We have rescued more than 3500 street animals, and provide a shelter for more than 200 dogs.
Sarvoham means the harmony between all elements of nature, both human and non-human, and the organization is guided by the spirit of harmonious coexistence.
ROLE PURPOSE:
Sarvoham Welfare Trust stands at a defining moment in its journey to create a more compassionate world for animals and seeks to expand its impact by building a sustainable ecosystem of partnerships and philanthropy that will enable many more lives to be saved and transformed.
The Animal Rescue Manager is a key role responsible that will lead and coordinate the end-to-end rescue operations for animals in distress — receiving and triaging rescue calls, dispatching field teams, ensuring safe and humane handling/transport of injured or at-risk animals, coordinating with veterinary staff for immediate medical care, and maintaining records and protocols so rescues are handled consistently, safely, and in compliance with animal welfare standards. The role essentially bridges the gap between the public reporting an animal in need and the organization's veterinary and shelter operations, ensuring rescues are timely, well-documented, and aligned with the organization's broader animal welfare mission.
