Job Description

Role Overview: At Capgemini Engineering, a global leader in engineering services, you will be part of a team of engineers, scientists, and architects dedicated to helping innovative companies reach their full potential. As an Android Platform professional with 6 to 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for defining platform-level requirements, creating detailed system and software specifications, and collaborating with various stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Define platform-level requirements spanning Android framework services, middleware layers, and HAL interactions. - Create and maintain detailed System Requirements Specifications (SyRS) and Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) documents. - Gather, define, document, and maintain system and software requirements for Android platform features. - Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA to translate business and system-level needs into detailed technical requirements. - Work in the area of Software Engineering, focusing on the development, maintenance, and optimization of software solutions/applications. - Apply scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems. - Develop and apply software engineering practice and knowledge in research, design, development, and maintenance. - Exercise original thought and judgment, and supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers. - Build skills and expertise in the software engineering discipline to meet standard software engineer skills expectations. - Collaborate and act as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communication Technology, or a related field. - 8-12 years of experience in Infotainment/Multimedia. - Strong knowledge and experience in Android platform development. - Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
