About the Internship

LearnElectronics India is looking for a motivated and dedicated Android App Development Intern to develop an Android mobile application as part of a specific project.

The selected intern will be responsible for developing the application, implementing required features, testing functionality, fixing bugs, and making modifications based on feedback and project requirements. The intern will work closely with our team to take the application from development to a functional, tested version.

This is a project-based internship, initially focused on developing one Android application. The internship is expected to last at least one month and may be extended depending on the complexity of the application, development progress, testing requirements, and any additional changes.

The internship is hybrid. The candidate can work from home but must be available to visit our Bengaluru office when required, typically once or twice a week or as mutually agreed.

Responsibilities

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Design and develop an Android mobile application based on the project requirements.
• Develop user-friendly screens, layouts, navigation, and application workflows.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
• Implement the required application features and functionality.
• Integrate APIs, databases, authentication, or other services wherever required by the project.
• Test the application on Android devices and identify and fix bugs.
• Modify and improve the application based on feedback, testing results, and changing requirements.
• Optimize application performance, usability, and reliability.
• Maintain proper project files, source code, and technical documentation.
• Provide regular updates on development progress, completed tasks, pending work, and technical challenges.
• Coordinate with the team to clarify requirements and ensure the application meets the expected deliverables.
• Prepare the final working application and hand over the source code, documentation, and other project deliverables upon completion.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or having completed a Diploma, Bachelor's degree, or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Android application development.
• Familiarity with Android Studio and at least one relevant development technology, such as Kotlin, Java, or Flutter.
• Understanding of mobile application UI development, navigation, and application architecture.
• Basic understanding of APIs, JSON, databases, and client-server communication, where applicable.
• Ability to debug code, troubleshoot issues, and implement changes independently.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn, take ownership of assigned tasks, and work towards defined project milestones.
• Good communication skills and the ability to provide regular progress updates.
• Ability to manage time effectively while working remotely and meet agreed deadlines.

Pay: ₹2,000.00 per month
