As a Software Engineer at Ampien, you will play a key role in translating business demands into appropriate technology solutions. You will be responsible for producing testable solutions with high levels of automation, applying various software engineering practices ranging from analyzing user needs to automated testing and deployment. Your primary focus will be on understanding the constraints of engineering solutions in a regulated setting and ensuring compliance with all bank and regulatory controls. Your mission will be to engineer robust, reliable, and purpose-fit solutions, while integrating observability into our products to monitor production health, resolve incidents, and remediate risks and issues at their root cause. Prioritizing your time effectively, you will work within a geographically dispersed, fast-moving Agile team environment. Continuous up-skilling, learning new technologies, and reusing strategic platforms and standards will be essential for long-term sustainability. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in developing software solutions, advanced programming skills in languages such as Java, Go, or Python, and experience in cloud-native app development with Docker and Kubernetes.
