AM/DM Cost Management & Strategic Sourcing - EV Components

cost optimization, commodity tracking, and supplier negotiations

Key Responsibilities:

• Costing & Analytics:

  Perform cost comparison, should-cost analysis, and detailed cost estimation for EV aggregates and electrical components.

• Commodity & Forex Management:

  Monitor global commodity trends and forex variations to accurately update and revise component pricing models.

• Supplier Negotiation:

  Lead commercial negotiations with potential suppliers regarding carrying costs, raw material indexation, and technical evaluations.

• Cost Optimization (VA/VE):

  Drive Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VA/VE) initiatives internally and with suppliers to eliminate waste and optimize product costs.

• Price Revisions:

  Efficiently manage and settle period-based price revisions derived from raw material and forex fluctuations.

Requirements:

• Education:

  Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Engineering.

• Experience:

  Proven experience in automotive strategic sourcing, specific to EV components or electronics.

• Skills:

  Strong understanding of cost breakup, vendor management, commodity indexing, and technical component evaluation.
