## *Job Title:* Business Development Consultant *Department:* Business Development *Reports To:* Business Development Manager --- ### *Role Overview* The *Business Development Consultant* plays a crucial role in driving the companys top-line growth. This position involves managing and converting enquiries, building and maintaining strong dealer and customer relationships, and generating new business opportunities through strategic sales efforts. The consultant is expected to ensure that the net revenue generated each month is at least *five times* their monthly CTC. --- ### *Key Responsibilities* *1. Enquiry Management & Conversion* * Manage and convert incoming sales enquiries from various sources (Google Ads, social media, cold calls, emailers, etc.). * Introduce the company, share product catalogues and price lists, and ensure timely follow-ups. * Negotiate margins, generate Proforma invoices, and ensure timely payment collection. * Coordinate with accounts for billing and receipt of payments. *2. Dealer & Customer Relationship Management* * Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, customers, and resellers to generate repeat business. * Appoint new dealers across India and maintain an updated dealer database. * Collaborate with the manufacturing and dispatch teams for smooth order processing. *3. Sales Development & Market Expansion* * Generate new business opportunities through events, field visits, and direct sales activities. * Approach purchase managers of 5-star hotels, airlines, cinema chains, QSRs, and supermarkets for institutional sales. * Explore and pitch private label manufacturing opportunities with supermarkets, FMCG startups, and other companies. *4. Performance Accountability* * Ensure that monthly revenue targets are achieved and the revenue generated is at least *5x* of the consultant’s CTC. --- ### *Primary Skills & Experience (Required)* * Strong understanding of business development and sales processes. * Ability to acquire in-depth product and industry knowledge. * Proven experience in lead generation, enquiry handling, and customer relationship management. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. * Proficiency in using digital platforms (Google Ads, emailers, CRM tools, etc.) for enquiry handling. * Experience in institutional or B2B sales will be an added advantage. --- ### *Educational Qualification* * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. * MBA or equivalent qualification preferred. --- ### *Compensation* * Competitive salary + performance-based incentives. * Expected revenue generation: Minimum *5x of monthly CTC*.
