Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager (AM) specializing in US Partnership Tax (Form 1065) and State and Local Tax (SALT) to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex tax engagements, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations, and providing strategic tax advice to our diverse client base. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and excellent client communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and review complex US federal partnership tax returns (Form 1065) and related schedules (K-1) for various industries.
• Oversee and review state and local income/franchise tax returns for partnerships, ensuring compliance with multi-state regulations and identifying potential tax savings opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth tax research on intricate federal and state tax issues impacting partnerships and provide well-reasoned conclusions.
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, including entity structuring, transaction analysis, and compliance with new tax legislation.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior tax professionals, providing guidance on technical matters and career growth.
• Manage client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact for tax-related inquiries and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Monitor engagement budgets, billing, and project timelines to ensure efficient and profitable service delivery.
• Stay abreast of changes in US federal and state tax laws and regulations, assessing their impact on clients and internal processes.
• Assist in business development initiatives, including preparing proposals and participating in client presentations.
• Collaborate with other service lines and internal teams to provide integrated solutions to clients.
