Façade Structural Engineer – Navi Mumbai (UK Projects) ALUFIX DESIGN INDIA is seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Façade Structural Engineer to join our Navi Mumbai design office and support the delivery of prestigious UK façade projects. Our growing Navi Mumbai design hub supports global delivery, bringing deep technical expertise to international building projects — particularly in the UK market. We are now looking to expand our team with an experienced Façade Structural Engineer with a passion for precision, innovation, and technical leadership. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ------------------------ Perform detailed engineering computations and structural façade analysis Provide technical assessments and advice on façade systems, fire compliance, and remedial solutions. Prepare, review and sign-off façade calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings, and documentation at all project stages. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver technically robust solutions. Accountable for all façade documentation including calculations, drawings and specifications Ensure full compliance with UK Building Regulations, fire safety standards (e.g., BS 8414/BR 135), CWCT guidance, and company health & safety procedures at all times. Identify defects, risks, and areas of non-compliance relating to façade performance and safety. ------------------------ QUALIFICATIONS ------------------------ Minimum 5 years of professional experience in façade. Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or similar. Proficiency in relevant façade & structural finite element software e.g. Strand7, Mepla, StaadPro. Solid understanding of curtain wall systems, unitized façades, rainscreen cladding, aluminium and glass systems. Must be experienced in façade system design and reviewing of drawing submissions Experience in producing and reviewing calculations for various façade elements and writing documentation at the different stages of a project Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations, construction detailing, and materials performance. Strong communication skills with excellent written and spoken English. ------------------------ DESIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE ------------------------ Knowledge of 3D/BIM software such as Revit, Rhino, or other parametric tools. •Familiarity with UK Building Regulations, CWCT standards, and façade performance requirements. Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Strong coordination capability across disciplines and with international project teams.
