Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of new products using aluminium and UPVC profiles for windows, doors, faades, curtain walls, and related systems. Collaborate with internal teams including design, quality, sales, and production to transform market requirements into viable product solutions. Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify gaps and propose innovative features or new systems. Create and manage technical drawings, BOMs, CAD models , and assembly instructions. Work closely with tooling and extrusion vendors to ensure optimal profile performance and cost-efficiency. Support the prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs to ensure compliance with performance standards (e.g., wind, water, thermal, acoustic). Maintain knowledge of industry standards such as EN, ASTM, IS, and local building codes. Coordinate field trials , collect feedback, and implement improvements before full-scale production. Provide technical support to sales, marketing, and customer service teams during pre- and post-launch stages. Manage project timelines and documentation from concept to commercial release. Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering , Civil Engineering , Industrial Design , or a related technical field. Additional certifications in Product Design , CAD , or Project Management are a plus. Professional Experience: 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in developing aluminium and/or UPVC window and door systems . Proven track record of launching new products from concept to market in the fenestration or faade industry. Experience working with architectural system companies , aluminium extrusion manufacturers, or UPVC profile makers. Technical Expertise: Proficient in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar design software. Strong understanding of extrusion design , profile optimization , and hardware integration (locks, hinges, gaskets, etc.). Familiarity with thermal insulation techniques , soundproofing principles , and drainage systems in windows/doors.
