Key Responsibilities Understand product requirements and translate them into detailed test cases. Participate in sprint planning meetings, understand user stories, and contribute to testing feasibility discussions. Develop and maintain test plans outlining the overall testing approach for projects. Execute test cases to validate release builds and perform functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing as required. Contribute to test automation efforts using Playwright (Custom or BDD Framework). Identify, log, and track defects using Jira or similar issue-tracking tools. Collaborate with team members to share best practices and maintain a knowledge repository. Maintain up-to-date documentation for test cases, test plans, and QA processes. Adapt to changing requirements and priorities within an Agile/Scrum framework. Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure quality deliverables. Write and maintain automation scripts for UI and functional testing across multiple environments. Assist in API testing and performance testing using Postman and JMeter (beginner level). Use Git for version control and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution. Demonstrate a cross-functional approach by collaborating with different functional teams across the organization. Maintain release management documentation and ensure smooth version transitions. Preferred candidate profile 13 years of experience in Quality Assurance (Manual and Automation). Proficiency in Playwright Automation with JavaScript or TypeScript. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, traceability matrices, and defect management. Hands-on experience in writing detailed test cases and identifying defects based on requirements. Experience with Playwright (Custom or BDD Framework). Familiarity with Git, CI/CD concepts, and test integration pipelines. Basic understanding of API testing using Postman. Exposure to AI-based testing approaches and automation innovation. Basic experience in performance testing using JMeter. Experience with Jira or similar Test Management tools. Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive attitude.
