You will be part of the Technology & Operations team at Allied Container Group, a leading logistics and supply chain management company. Your role as a Web Developer will involve developing cutting-edge functionality for enterprise web applications. Responsibilities: - Develop, automate, and maintain web applications and services while following performance and quality code best practices - Collaborate with the team lead and members to identify requirements, define scope, and ensure deadlines are met - Work with the UI/UX team to maintain consistency in design - Document product and project information - Stay updated on emerging web development trends and technologies Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of hands-on full-stack development experience in React, Laravel, React Native, HTML, CSS, related Javascript/PHP web and mobile frameworks, databases, and code versioning tools (e.g., Git, SVN) - Strong problem-solving skills in operational environments - Understanding of software development lifecycles and appreciation of UI/UX practices - Knowledge of CI/CD & Infrastructure, Cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean) - Familiarity with system testing, automated testing is a plus - Ability to work collaboratively with team members and users to meet deadlines - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent working experience - Familiarity with OCR frameworks - Willingness to relocate to Dubai/Oman after the probation period if required - Adaptability to the Middle East working environment and collaboration with onsite teams Preferred: - Knowledge of logistics, depot, or accounts-related workflows - Ability to communicate in Hindi and/or Arabic considered an advantage - Willingness to travel or be onsite for depot system rollouts If you perform well during the first year probation, there may be opportunities for onsite relocation to Dubai/Oman. As part of the Technology & Operations team, the Web Developer will be working on developing cutting-edge functionality for new or existing enterprise web applications.
