Role Name : Cosmetologist Company: Algaven Phycogen Private Limited Division: PhytoBio Cosmetic Innovation Location: Erode, Tamil Nadu Role Overview We are seeking a passionate Cosmetologist to support the research, development, and innovation of phyto-based and science-backed cosmetic products. The role involves hands-on formulation work, quality evaluation, and collaboration with R&D and production teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and assist in formulation of cosmetic products (creams, lotions, serums, gels, shampoos, etc.) Work with natural, herbal, and algae/phyto-based ingredients Conduct stability testing, performance testing, and quality checks Maintain proper documentation, batch records, and SOPs Support scale-up trials and coordination with the production team Ensure compliance with cosmetic safety and quality standards Assist in raw material evaluation and ingredient research Qualifications B.Sc or Diploma in: Biotechnology Microbiology Biochemistry Cosmetic Science Life Sciences or related fields Skills & Competencies Basic knowledge of cosmetic formulation and ingredients Interest in natural/phyto-cosmetic innovation Good laboratory practices and attention to detail Willingness to learn, experiment, and adapt Basic documentation and reporting skills
