The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, reviewing project specifications and drawings, preparing detailed quantity take-offs, and collaborating with project managers and engineering teams. Additional responsibilities include attending pre-bid meetings, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities, and maintaining a database of suppliers and pricing information. Qualifications Extensive experience in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and project cost forecasting Strong proficiency in analyzing project specifications and drawings Solid understanding of engineering principles and construction processes Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and remotely Proficiency with estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Experience in the fire safety or electro-mechanical industry is a plus
