If youve implemented Odoo in fast-paced industrial environments and enjoy solving complex problems across departments, we want to hear from you! What You’ll Do Manage and maintain our Odoo ERP platform , ensuring high performance and uptime. Configure and support core modules: Sales, Projects, Inventory, Procurement, HR, and Accounting . Collaborate with departments to implement workflows tailored to engineering and project execution needs. Customize reports, dashboards, and module behavior to improve visibility and efficiency. Train and support end-users across teams to get the most out of Odoo. Handle system security, backups, and troubleshooting. Coordinate with technical teams and Odoo partners for advanced customizations and integrations. What You Bring 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Odoo ERP , including at least 1–2 years in an engineering or project-driven industry . Strong understanding of project workflows, costing, procurement, and documentation practices in engineering companies. Experience with PostgreSQL , Linux-based servers, and basic scripting. Familiarity with Odoo Studio , module customization, and system configurations. A problem-solving mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to train and support cross-functional teams. Nice to Have Experience in EPC, MEP, automation, or industrial services. Knowledge of Python/XML, Git, Docker, or Odoo.sh. Prior experience working with Odoo consultants or implementation partners. Job Description Description: Inside Sales Engineer/ Proposal Engineer Responsibilities: • Calculate accurate and competitive sales quotations and prepare tenders, proposals, designs, and technical documents to meet customer deadlines. • Manage and interpret both new and existing customer requirements to understand, anticipate and practically meet their needs. • Offer customers a product or service that best satisfies their needs in terms of technical specification, quality, price and delivery for the range of products. • Key Account Management & Vendor Management. • To be able to work with ABB, Wika, Trafag Instrumentation Product Profile & Product configurators. • Knowledge with Water & Wastewater Desalination, Power Generation and Oil & Gas Industry. • Conversant with Selection of Gauges, Sensors, Transmitters, Valves as per the application. • Well versed with Measurement & Analytics parameters like Pressure, Temperature, Level, Flow, Calibration, Valves & Fittings. • Offer after-sales service and support to develop and grow long-term relationships with new and existing customers. • Preparing post order documents such as NMR, Submittal, VDRL, VDDR, etc. • Be pro-active in progressing customer orders to completion and respond to customer progress enquiries within expected timescales. • Be proactive in notifying customers when there is a change in delivery date, or if there is any potential problem with a sales order. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Mechanical, or similar. • At least 1 year experience in a similar role. • Familiar with engineering field instruments like Gauges, Transmitter and Valves. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Leadership and self-starter. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
