Co-Founder & CTO — Ailo (AI-Powered Hyperlocal Commerce) Location: Gurgaon / Bangalore / Remote (India) Type: Co-Founder (Equity + Leadership Role) Ailo is building the AI-powered, asset-light future of hyperlocal grocery delivery , enabling 20–30 minute deliveries using neighborhood kirana stores — not warehouses . Our model leverages AI intelligence + decentralized supply + ONDC interoperability to create a more scalable alternative to conventional quick-commerce. We are looking for a Co-Founder & CTO to join us early and lead the end-to-end technology vision and execution. 🎯 Mission Build the technology backbone of Ailo — the platform, systems, and intelligence that will power India’s most efficient decentralized grocery network. 🛠 Responsibilities Technology Vision & Architecture Define Ailo’s technical roadmap and platform architecture Build for scale: multi-city, high-frequency, real-time orders Drive automation-first thinking across the engineering stack AI & Intelligence Layer (high-level only) Develop decision systems that enhance availability, routing, and fulfillment Build foundational ML pipelines and data systems Engineering Leadership Hire and lead the engineering, ML, DevOps, and data teams Set coding standards, engineering culture, and velocity norms Mentor engineers and create a high-ownership execution culture Product Execution Deliver customer, store, and rider applications Integrate ONDC APIs, mapping services, routing engines, and analytics Ensure platform uptime, speed, security, and reliability Work closely with CEO and Ops to translate product vision into reality ⭐ Requirements 7–14 years in backend engineering, full-stack development, or platform architecture Strong with Node.js / Python / Go , microservices, AWS/GCP Experience or interest in AI/ML-driven systems Background in consumer, marketplace, or logistics apps is a plus Comfortable in a 0→1 environment; strong ownership mindset Must be willing to commit full-time as a co-founder 🎁 What You’ll Get Co-Founder title: CTO Significant equity ownership Ownership of tech + AI direction Opportunity to build a national-scale AI-first commerce backbone Direct partnership with an experienced founder and a clear vision 👤 About the Founder Ailo is founded by Umesh Sharma , a technologist with 25+ years in software development, product engineering, and global startup execution.
