BSACIST has a proven track record of successfully operating the Crescent Innovation & Incubation Council (CIIC), https://www.ciic.ventures/ a dedicated innovation entity registered as a Section-8 not-for-profit organisation since 2019. Through CIIC, the institution has supported 134 startups across strategic sectors, including Life Sciences, Industry 4.0, and Aerospace & Defence Technology. Building on our existing strengths, BSACIST established Atal Incubation Centre - Crescent Innovation and Incubation Council (AIC-CIIC), a Special Purpose Vehicle registered as Section-8 not-for-profit organisation focused on "Smart & Clean Mobility". This initiative, supported by the Atal Innovation Mission of NITI Aayog, Government of India, aims to foster innovative startups and enable them to evolve into scalable and sustainable businesses. Atal Incubation Centre - Crescent Innovation and Incubation Council (AIC-CIIC) Position: Chief Executive Officer Location: Vandalur, Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu Key Role & Responsibilities Developing the strategic plan and the roadmap for the AIC-CIIC as per the directions given by the AIC-CIIC Governing Board along with well-defined deliverables, timelines and financials. Leading the operations & activities of AIC-CIIC and oversee the budgetary spending through the PFMS system. Pioneering breakthrough incubation models and programs that challenge conventional approaches, creating measurable impact through innovative outreach and support mechanisms that set new benchmarks in the ecosystem. Identifying and implementing disruptive best practices from national and international ecosystems, while having the vision to create novel frameworks tailored to India's unique startup landscape. Building AIC-CIIC as a groundbreaking, self-learning organization that pioneers new models of sustainability and independence, not just follows existing templates. Cultivating an unconventional mentor ecosystem that brings together diverse, out-of-the-box thinking and cross-industry innovation perspectives. Assembling a team with entrepreneurial mindset and creative problem-solving abilities who can deliver best-in-class incubator services while continuously innovating service models. Architecting novel pathways for transforming early-stage startups into growth-stage enterprises through creative acceleration strategies, achieving financial sustainability within 5 years. Forging unconventional partnerships with academia, R&D institutions, industry, incubators and funding institutions that create unique value propositions and competitive advantages for startups. Designing innovative access models to prototyping facilities, test beds, markets, and pilot implementation opportunities that differentiate our startups in the marketplace. Conceptualizing and executing distinctive events and programs that attract and inspire prospective incubatees, students, scientific community and public through creative engagement strategies. Creating intelligent knowledge repositories and networks that leverage technology and innovation to connect technologies, resources, and mentors in unprecedented ways. Envisioning and directing the creation of cutting-edge digital and physical infrastructure that embodies innovation and inspires entrepreneurial thinking. Building a visionary team capable of challenging status quo, guiding startups through uncharted territory, and creating entirely new approaches to business development, investment facilitation, and ecosystem building. Eligibility: We seek a trailblazer and frame-breaker – someone who has demonstrably built something from scratch, created new models, or pioneered innovative approaches in the startup ecosystem. A strategic thinker with global perspective and local insight, they should possess a nuanced understanding of both Indian and international startup landscapes.
