Job Title: Assistant Professor – Pharmaceutical Chemistry Job Location: Ahalia School of Pharmacy, Palakkad, Kerala Job Purpose: To provide high-quality teaching in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, mentor students, and contribute to research and academic development of the Department, while supporting institutional goals in education, research, and community service. Key Responsibilities:Teaching & Academic Duties Deliver lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions in Pharmaceutical/Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and related subjects at UG and PG levels. Guide postgraduate and doctoral students (if applicable). Institutional & Administrative Duties Contribute to curriculum development, syllabus revision, and accreditation activities (NBA, NAAC, PCI). Ensure proper operation, calibration, and safety of laboratory equipment and chemicals. Participate in departmental meetings, academic audits, and institutional committees. Skills & Competencies: Strong subject knowledge in drug discovery, synthetic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and pharmaceutical analysis techniques .
