Responsible for preparing drawing using Solid Works Design Software & Auto CAD. Knowledge of designing / detailing assemblies and sub - assemblies of Products. Knowledge in preparation of layouts, assembly drawings, detailed manufacturing drawings with necessary GD & T, preparation of Bill of material, maintenance of ECN, Drawing Revisions and Change level maintenance. Create and update database of design records for future reference purposes. Perform other design, new product Development activities as required. Knowledge in New Product Development using Customer input and developing products through Reverse Engineering concepts, product life cycle testing, design development activities. Studying existing Products, processes and implementing improvements. Maintenance of design and new product development documents as per IATF 16949 QMS is must. Technical co-ordination with other functional departments like production, purchase, and marketing Participating in CFT (Cross-Functional Team) meetings, maintaining committed timelines and project files
Developing and implementing production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet production objectives Monitoring production processes to ensure that they are operating safely and efficiently, and identifying areas for improvement Coordinating and assigning tasks to production staff, and ensuring that all staff members receive appropriate training to perform routine duties effectively Conducting regular equipment and machinery inspections to identify potential issues and coordinating with maintenance staff to make sure repairs and servicing happen as necessary Ensuring that quality control standards and protocols apply to a production process and addressing quality-related issues that may arise Managing inventory levels and coordinating with supply chain staff to ensure that raw materials, and other supplies are available according to the schedule he should have strong leadership abilities to effectively manage and motivate teams of contributors, delegate tasks, and communicate expectations clearly Supervisors with technical knowledge of the production process, equipment and machinery can ensure that production runs optimally, and efficiently. Production supervisors who can identify and solve problems that arise during the production process quickly and competently can minimise downtime and reduce the likelihood of production delays. These individuals can use their organisational abilities to perform their job well, monitoring production schedules, inventory levels and personnel requirements and ensuring the proper allocation and expenditure of all resources.
