A CNC Operator cum Programmer is responsible for creating CNC programs, setting up machines, and operating CNC equipment to produce high-precision parts as per engineering drawings and quality standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues. Key Responsibilities 1. CNC Programming Create CNC programs using CAM software (Mastercam, SolidCAM, Fusion 360, etc.). Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications. Optimize machining processes for accuracy, quality, and efficiency. Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds. 2. Machine Setup Set up CNC machines such as Milling, Turning, VMC, or HMC. Load tools, fixtures, and materials correctly. Ensure proper alignment and calibration before starting production. 3.
