What You Will Do As an HVAC Design & Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for end-to-end HVAC system design and technical planning , working closely with site teams to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and executed correctly. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting initial site visits for data collection, feasibility assessment, and client understanding Performing heat load calculations using standard methods and software Selecting appropriate HVAC systems (VRF, ductable, packaged, chillers, AHUs, FCUs) based on load, application, and budget Preparing HVAC design layouts, schematics, and drawings Designing ducting, piping, and equipment layouts with proper sizing and routing Coordinating with architects, consultants, and structural teams during the design stage Preparing BOQs, technical specifications, and design-related documentation Supporting the execution team during installation to ensure design intent is met Attending site visits during execution to resolve design-related issues Assisting in testing, commissioning, and system optimization Ensuring designs comply with applicable standards, best practices, and client requirements Qualifications & Experience Education Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / HVAC / Refrigeration Strong technical foundation in HVAC system design Experience Experience in HVAC design and planning (site + office exposure preferred) Practical understanding of site execution and coordination Technical Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD for HVAC drawings Working knowledge of Revit (BIM) for HVAC design and coordination Heat load calculation tools and manual calculation understanding Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings Key Traits We Value Strong technical and analytical thinking Attention to detail and design accuracy Professional communication with clients and site teams Willingness to visit sites and support execution Ownership mindset from design through commissioning Probation 2-month probation period Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Paid time off Provident Fund Work Location: In person
