You will lead a team of baristas, servers, and support staff, manage inventory, maintain hygiene standards, and drive sales through effective menu planning and promotions. This role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality food and beverage service. Key Responsibilities Team Management: Recruit, train, and schedule staff for optimal shift coverage; conduct performance reviews and handle disciplinary actions; foster a positive work culture with daily attendance tracking and leave management. Operations Oversight: Supervise opening/closing procedures, kitchen and front-of-house activities; ensure compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., FSSAI standards) and maintain a clean, welcoming cafe environment. Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints promptly; implement loyalty programs and feedback systems to enhance guest experience; monitor service speed and quality during peak hours. Inventory & Procurement: Track stock levels for coffee, juices, snacks, and supplies; place orders with vendors; minimize waste through portion control and FIFO methods; manage costs to meet budget targets. Financial Management: Handle cash reconciliation, POS systems, and daily sales reporting; analyze revenue trends and suggest menu pricing or promotions (e.g., theatre-style juice specials). Marketing & Sales: Develop seasonal promotions, social media updates, and in-store displays; collaborate on events like corporate catering or local partnerships. Compliance & Reporting: Maintain records for health inspections, staff certifications, and operational logs; prepare weekly reports on sales, staffing, and KPIs for senior management. Technology Integration: Use apps for shift scheduling (e.g., WhatsApp groups or basic tools), inventory tracking, and customer orders to streamline operations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 3-5 years in cafe/restaurant operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Certification in food safety/hygiene (preferred). Essential Skills & Experience Proven track record in staff training, shift planning, and high-volume service. Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, beverage trends (e.g., juices, mocktails), and menu development.
