Description Opportunity for a MaterialsTesting Engineer who will be responsible for the test preparation, testing, measurement, and reporting of various mechanical tests for Plastics, Composite and Rubber materials. Familiarity with ASTM/ISO/IS Test Methods and associated documentation is required. Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Civil/Polymer engineering or Plastics Rubber Diploma/Degree is required with 1-2 years of relevant work experience or BSc/MSc in Physics, Maths etc. and suitable fields Responsibilities and Duties: Carry out testing of materials and products as per ASTM/ISO/IS test standards. Gather test parts, accessories and set up tests. Maintain test facility and test equipment as required. Make and print report of test results. Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor.Authority To review and authorize the routine records of the laboratory. To review and approve Calibration certificates of equipments received from the outside Calibration agency. To stop the testing activities, if proper environment condition is not maintained / achieved.
