Advanced Engineer, Audio DSP

As a DSP Software Engineer at HARMAN Automotive, you will be responsible for customizing and integrating audio DSP algorithms for the automotive environment within complex architectures and audio frameworks. Your key responsibilities will include: - Customizing and integrating audio DSP algorithms for automotive environment within complex architectures and audio frameworks. - Porting DSP algorithms to various processors/platforms and utilizing available resources effectively. - Designing audio signal flows and software architectures using SW platform components. - Developing production-ready software following defined software development processes. - Estimating processing resources and optimizing individual algorithms and total system performance. To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications: - Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - 6+ years of embedded software development experience. - 5+ years of experience in DSP, preferably in the audio field. - 5+ years of experience in C++/C or other structured languages. - Experience in developing consumer products. - Deep knowledge of filtering, audio processing/post-processing, and noise control algorithms. - Strong understanding of DSP frameworks and their interactions with control software. - Experience with digital communication protocols in a multiprocessor environment.
