Job Description

You will be a member of the SubSystem Integration and Test (SSIT) team, where you will use a Hardware In The Loop (HIL) system to run open loop scenarios using vehicle sensor data collects. Your primary responsibility will involve working closely with software platform teams to validate vehicle software before deployment. This will include designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures, and implementing them for automation in scheduled Jenkins jobs. You will also document systems-level defects, report them to developers, and develop test programs to assess system effectiveness. Responsibilities: - Conduct log analyses to identify issues and make recommendations. - Collect information and identify patterns related to systems testing. - Manage project priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision. - Communicate feedback about feature issues to software and systems teams. - Collaborate with own and other teams to complete project work. - Resolve technical issues and escalate when necessary. - Adapt to changes and setbacks to meet deadlines. - Troubleshoot issues and find solutions from various sources. - Detect bugs and resolve issues using advanced debugging approaches. - Conduct field or lab tests as directed. - Seek opinions for problem-solving approaches. - Knowledge in operating systems like Android, QNX, embedded Linux preferred. - Strong foundation in Machine Learning and Automotive areas is a plus. - Foundational understanding of Automotive Test processes. - 2-5 years of work experience in embedded test or automotive test. - Good scripting skills for test automation development. - Solid Computer architecture fundamentals and background in technologies like AI/Multimedia/Camera/Computer Vision. - Experience with HIL and SIL test methodologies used for testing embedded systems. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. - Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience. - PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. - 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - 4+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
