Job Description: Were seeking an experienced hardware engineer to join our team at our Belgaum Design Centre. You’ll deliver exceptional and innovative computer schematics for building new hardware products. As a key player in ensuring the quality of our hardware products, you’ll oversee ongoing the PCB functional testing of the hardware projects, participating in the hardware projects review meetings, and carryout the changes as per decisions made in the review meetings to improve the projects. Objectives of this role Schematics generation, preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM), and validating the Schematics and BOM. Testing of PCBs and carrying out the soldering work for component changes during PCB testing. Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and product validation activities to ensure compliance with regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including PCB design, BOM procurement and customer support. Required skills and qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. 2+ years of demonstrable experience as a hardware engineer. Strong knowledge of hardware design principles, testing tools, equipment, and techniques Schematic entry, DRC Check, Netlist generation, BOM validation. Project Board (PCB) testing with Microcontrollers, CPLDs and FPGAs Capable of de-soldering & resoldering of SMD components during board testing Preferred skills and qualifications Proficiency in Electrical CAD Tools like OrCAD and/or Altium for schematic entry De-soldering and resoldering of SMD components including small formfactor components. Familiar with test equipment like DVM, Oscilloscope, LCR Meter, Function Generator etc.
Qualification: B.Tech Or MSc Or BSc Electronics/ Diploma Electronics or Electrical Experience: 0 to 2 years. Even if you don't have experience, if the candidate willing to learn new things. We will train them. Attitude towards learning new things is an added advantage. We are looking for young and energetic, able to handle multiple tasks in parallel, team player, Flexible to work for a professionally managed design center/ Contract Manufacturing activities. Responsible for preparing estimation for customer proposals, work very closely with our Supply Chain/ Materials teams/ Customer interface and component engineering team. Knowledge about Electronics Components, PCB and PCB manufacturing will be an added advantage. Gather competitive pricing from all respective component and PCB from vendors and proceed for parts & PCB purchase. Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors, contractors and subcontractors. Review responses, benchmarking to historical purchase activity, quote history and alternate sourcing Ability to Source alternate parts for cost reduction opportunities Perform final proposal analysis of customer quote package and deliver to sales group within prescribed time commitments Work under moderate supervision, able to make some day-to-day decisions based on own judgment Experience in Procurement of all Electronics Parts / PCB assembly parts will be an added advantage. Sound English Communication Skill (Written / Verbal) Willing to work in any shift (Morning / General / Afternoon) Computer Proficiency (Windows / Office / Web Browser)
