About the Role As a Publisher Development Manager at Adapex, you will identify, engage, and close high-value partnerships with digital publishers across web, mobile, gaming, and CTV. This role requires a proactive hunter with deep understanding of digital media, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to drive meaningful revenue impact. You will work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer and collaborate cross-functionally with Yield, AdOps, Product, and Marketing teams. What You'll Do Pipeline Generation & Prospecting Actively prospect new publisher opportunities with high-volume outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, virtual meetings, and conferences. Identify mid-tier and premium publishers and clearly articulate the Adapex value proposition. Partner with a dedicated BDR while also generating your own leads; you should not rely exclusively on BDR support. Maintain a healthy, accurate pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales activity metrics. Consultative Sales & Closing Conduct discovery to understand publisher ad stacks, SSP relationships, GAM/Ad Manager setup, header bidding configurations, and monetization challenges. Present tailored solutions demonstrating how Adapex improves publisher yield, revenue, and operational efficiency. Manage deals from prospecting through negotiation and close. Collaborate closely with senior management to accelerate strategic opportunities. Internal Collaboration & Enablement Work with Analytics, Yield, and AdOps to create custom proposals and revenue projections. Communicate regularly with your supervisor on active deals, blockers, and opportunities. Maintain detailed CRM records, ensuring pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy. Contribute to sales playbooks, messaging frameworks, and competitive positioning as needed. Market Insight & Representation Stay current on industry trends, competitive platforms, privacy shifts, and programmatic innovations. Represent Adapex at industry events when required. Qualifications Required 3–5 years of experience in Publisher Development, AdTech Sales, or a related digital media role. Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including SSPs, exchanges, ad servers, and header bidding. Demonstrated track record of prospecting, closing deals, and achieving revenue targets. Consultative, customer-focused mindset with strong relationship development skills. Excellent communication and presentation capabilities. Creative problem solver with strong analytical abilities. Highly organized and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated hunter who thrives on generating new business. Existing relationships with mid-tier or premium publishers. Experience with GAM/Google Ad Manager, Prebid, or programmatic yield strategies. Background in SaaS, martech, or data-driven monetization platforms.
