Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant for a jewellery showroom based in Gurugram. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GST and TDS filing, bank reconciliation, and financial record management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Prepare and file GST returns and TDS returns within the prescribed deadlines.
• Perform bank reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
• Process vendor payments and maintain vendor accounts.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
• Maintain ledgers and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and follow up on outstanding payments and receivables.
• Maintain proper documentation for GST, TDS, audits, and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with management, vendors, and other departments regarding accounting matters.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Practical experience in GST and TDS return filing.
• Good understanding of bank reconciliation, vendor payments, and ledger management.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and maintaining accounting records.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail, honesty, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in the jewellery or retail industry will be an added advantage.
