Job Summary: Acoem India is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Sales Engineer to drive the growth of our Online Condition Monitoring product range within the Western Region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in industrial sales and a proven track record in selling complex engineering solutions. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and achieving sales targets for our online condition monitoring and vibration systems, industrial automation, and process instrumentation offerings. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Achieve aggressive sales targets for Acoem's Online Condition Monitoring product range in the Western Region. Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within target industries (e.g., manufacturing, power, oil & gas, chemicals, cement, metals & mining, etc.). Conduct comprehensive market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities. Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to prospective and existing clients. Negotiate contracts and close sales deals, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. Technical Expertise & Consultation: Act as a technical expert for Acoem's Online Condition Monitoring solutions, providing in-depth product information and application support to customers. Understand customer challenges and pain points, and effectively articulate how Acoem's solutions can address their specific needs. Collaborate with the technical support and service teams to ensure seamless project execution and post-sales support. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and Acoem product enhancements. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including plant managers, maintenance engineers, reliability engineers, and procurement teams. Regularly visit client sites to understand their operations and identify potential cross-selling or up-selling opportunities. Represent Acoem India at industry events, trade shows, and seminars to enhance brand visibility and generate leads. Reporting & Planning: Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and activity reports using the company's CRM system. Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the Western Region to achieve revenue goals. Provide regular feedback to management on market conditions, customer requirements, and competitive landscape. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related fields preferred). 3-7 years of progressive experience in industrial sales, with a strong focus on technical products. Proven experience in sales of one or more of the following areas is highly preferred: Online Condition Monitoring Systems Vibration Monitoring and Analysis Systems Industrial Automation Solutions Process Instrumentation Predictive Maintenance Technologies Excellent understanding of industrial processes and machinery. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to grasp complex technical concepts quickly. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite. PO acknowledgement and Order Booking in Sales Force. Advance Planning for Calibration reminders to existing and New Customer. Telephonically and Mail follow up after instrument repair and calibration Timely completion of Task assigned by Superior Making Quarterly, Half Yearly and Yearly report preparation for Revenue generation and new Ideas for growth of R&C business. Timely learning from Foreign Counter Part and making case study for repair. Packaging of Instrument and track record for shipping made to customer, foreign counter part and Inter Office. Timely calibration of Master Test and Measurement tool from Accredited NABL Lab for traceability. Maintenance- Knowledge of Electromechanical System and Troubleshooting and Calibration. Knowledge of Electrical Component and Test and Measurement tool. Understanding of Uniaxial, Triaxial and wireless Accelerometer working. Intermediate level of Understanding of Data Acquisition System. Understanding of Pressure, Temperature, RPM and Oil Parameter process sensor.
Role & responsibilities Operate CAAQMS equipment and analyzers to generate valid and accurate data. Use software, control tools, and supporting devices to adjust, regulate, and troubleshoot equipment settings. Monitor overall system performance, including plants and dams, and coordinate stream flow to meet operational or power demand requirements where applicable. System Monitoring & Regulation Regulate transmission loads, frequencies, and line voltages as per operational guidelines. Ensure uninterrupted station performance by continuously observing instrument parameters. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance of analyzers and supporting systems in line with the maintenance schedule. Conduct monthly calibration of analyzers to ensure measurement accuracy and compliance. Test auto-start features, repack valves, and perform other hands-on troubleshooting as required. Check UPS and inverter battery status monthly to ensure backup reliability. Documentation & Reporting Draft, update, and maintain all technical documentation related to CAAQMS equipment, rainfall data, and local operating activities. Maintain the daily logbook, maintenance logbook, and record gas cylinder pressures regularly. Prepare weekly Instrument Status Reports for all analyzers and submit them to the Senior Engineer/RME. Inventory & Resource Management Maintain an updated inventory of spares, consumables, and critical supplies. Ensure sufficient stock availability (minimum 46 months worth) to avoid operational downtime. Compliance & Standards Ensure all operations are performed in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Support internal and external audits by maintaining records, calibration logs, and service histories. Skills & Qualifications Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Environmental Science, or related field . Prior experience in handling CAAQMS or similar analytical/environmental monitoring instruments preferred. Knowledge of instrument calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance . Familiarity with UPS systems, inverters, and environmental monitoring protocols . Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in coordination with regional engineers. Competencies Technical Aptitude: Strong knowledge of analyzers, monitoring devices, and calibration methods. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and troubleshoot equipment efficiently. Attention to Detail: Accuracy in data recording, log maintenance, and reporting. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage spares, consumables, and ensure readiness of resources. Accountability: Ownership of station performance and adherence to maintenance schedules.
