Job Title: Lead Building Automation System (BAS) Controls Programming Engineer Location: Remote Work From Home (India) Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Lead BAS Controls Programming Engineer to spearhead programming projects for the North America region. This role involves overseeing BAS programming, quality standards, troubleshooting, system integration, and mentoring Programmer I & II team members. The ideal candidate will have advanced Niagara expertise, strong leadership skills, and proven experience in complex BAS projects. Key Responsibilities Lead BAS programming projects for North America-based clients, ensuring quality, standards, and timely delivery. Provide controls database, graphics, programming for sequences from design engineers or project specifications. Debug installation issues during static and dynamic startup, commissioning, and beyond. Support contractors and facility engineers to resolve operational challenges. Prepare project documentation including daily logs, commissioning records, and backups. Deliver remote service support to maintain system compliance, performance, and efficiency. Assist in as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and sales demonstrations during estimating phases. Travel occasionally (onsite) to oversee project commissioning or provide expert support. Expertly use Niagara Program Service , leveraging advanced program objects, N4 tagging, and analytics. Integrate third-party network controllers seamlessly with Tridium Niagara platforms. Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to Programmer I & II team members. Desired Candidate Profile Education: B.Tech/BE in AEIE, EE, or ME. Experience: Minimum 5+ years in HVAC/BAS Controls Programming. Hands-on experience with at least two platforms : Honeywell Optimizer & CIPer, Alerton VisualLogic, Schneider Electric EBO, Distech ECY-Gfx, or Automated Logic Controls. Strong knowledge of HVAC operations and control system design. Expertise in Niagara 4.0 , control sequences of operations, and third-party controller integration. Strong understanding of AC power circuitry, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with tools like voltmeters, oscilloscopes, etc. Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) with leadership ability. Proven track record in managing complex control system projects for verticals like hospitals, schools, or military complexes. Proficiency in remote project execution and technical problem-solving.
