Electrical Design and Drafting Engineer Key Requirements: Proficiency in AutoCAD In-depth knowledge of electrical system design including: HT side, LT side, MV Panels, DBs Single Line Diagrams, APFC Panel Transformer & DG Sizing Load Calculations, Earthing, Lighting, Cable Sizing and scheduling Familiarity with ELV systems such as: CCTV, Data, Fire Alarm (FA), and Public Address (PA) systems
Plumbing System Design Water Supply System Design: Calculation of water demand as per NBC / IS 1172 / local codes Sizing of pipes, pumps, and storage tanks (domestic & flushing) Design of cold & hot water distribution systems Pump head loss and selection based on hydraulic calculations Drainage & Sewage System Design: Gravity-based drainage design (soil, waste, vent systems) Sizing and slope calculation as per IS 2065 / CPHEEO / UPC Design of rainwater drainage systems and rainwater harvesting Design of STP/ETP interfaces and coordination with civil/architectural services Special Water Systems: Solar water heating system integration Water softening and filtration systems Sump and overhead tank design and detailing Fire Fighting System Design Hydraulic Calculations: Designing fire hydrant and sprinkler systems using HazenWilliams formula Hydraulic network modeling and pressure drop analysis System Components Design: Fire pumps, jockey pump, and pressure switch selection Fire risers, sprinkler head layouts, hydrant system, hose reel system Pump room layout as per NBC Part 4 and TAC guidelines Code Knowledge: NBC 2016, IS 3844, IS 15105, IS 15301, NFPA standards Local fire authority (CFO) approval norms and submission drawings
