Job Description

1. Costing & Cost Control
  • Monitor product, process, and manufacturing costs.
  • Analyze material, labor, power, overhead, and conversion costs.
  • Identify cost variances and drive corrective actions with plant operations.
  • Support productivity and cost-reduction initiatives.
2. Inventory & Working Capital
  • Monitor inventory levels, inventory valuation, slow-moving/obsolete stock, and provisions.
  • Drive working-capital optimization.
  • Review receivables, payables, inventory days, and cash-flow requirements.
3. CAPEX & Fixed Assets
  • Track project spending against approved budgets.
  • Ensure proper capitalization, asset accounting, depreciation, and physical verification.
4. Audit & Compliance
  • Coordinate internal, statutory, tax, and other audits.
  • Preparation of Cost Audit Data
5. Experience with SAP system is preferred
