We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to support our finance team with daily accounting and administrative tasks. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates eager to build a career in finance, ensuring accurate financial records and contributing to the smooth operation of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and reconcile invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements.
Maintain and update financial records, including sales and purchase ledgers, journals, and spreadsheets.
Assist with bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end processes.
Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and expense summaries, under the supervision of senior accountants.
Handle administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and responding to client or vendor inquiries.
Support audits by providing accurate documentation and resolving discrepancies.
Manage petty cash transactions and process payroll or vendor payments as needed.
Collaborate with finance team members and other departments to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
