Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive who has worked in or understands the financial workflows of a tissue paper manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, cost tracking, inventory accounting, vendor payments, GST, TDS, and monthly reconciliations in a manufacturing setup. Key Responsibilities: Daily Accounting Operations: Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, bank entries, etc.) Maintain general ledger and journal entries Handle petty cash and expense tracking Manufacturing Cost Accounting: Prepare and monitor cost sheets for raw materials like pulp, jumbo rolls, chemicals, etc. Calculate per-unit production cost and report cost variances Inventory management & valuation of raw material, WIP, and finished goods Taxation & Compliance: Filing and reconciliation of GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 9) TDS deduction, return filing & reconciliation Assist in statutory audits and compliance requirements Vendor & Customer Management: Accounts payable and receivable management Reconciliation with vendors/customers Ensure timely processing of payments & follow-ups for receivables MIS & Reporting: Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements Assist management with reports and analysis for decision-making Maintain audit-ready books and support during audits Skills & Qualifications: B.Com preferred Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP / Busy / Zoho / SAP or similar software Hands-on experience in manufacturing industry, preferably tissue paper or packaging/FMCG Good understanding of GST, TDS, and cost accounting Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Preferred Candidate Profile: Experience with production-linked accounting Familiar with wastage tracking, machine-wise costing, and stock reconciliation Exposure to internal audits and factory finance reporting
