Job Description – Accountant (Sage Software)

*Experience:* 2–5 Years\

*Location:* India\

*Qualification:* B.Com / M.Com or equivalent

Job Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping using Sage Accounting Software (Sage 50 / Sage 200).

- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.

- Perform bank, supplier and customer reconciliations.

- Record sales, purchase invoices, expenses and journal entries.

- Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial statements.

- Handle VAT accounting, reconciliations and reporting.

- Prepare trial balance, P&L and balance sheet.

- Coordinate with UK and European clients for accounting requirements.

Required Skills

- Practical experience in Sage Accounting Software.

- Good understanding of accounting and bookkeeping.

- Knowledge of UK / European accounting practices and VAT.

- Proficiency in MS Excel.

- Experience in bank reconciliation and month-end closing.

- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred

- Experience working with UK / European clients or accounting outsourcing firms.

- Knowledge of UK GAAP / IFRS.

- Additional experience in Xero or QuickBooks will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 per month
