Accountant - Preschool (Tally, GST, Fees)

Position: Accountant

Location: Panipat, Haryana (Model Town & HUDA Sector 13-17 branches)

Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday

Salary: Rs 15,000 - Rs 22,000 per month (based on experience)

About Us

The Blox Preschool is a fast-growing, system-driven preschool in Panipat with two branches and 220+ children. Every process in our school runs on a documented system and daily checklists. We are looking for a sharp, disciplined Accountant who keeps our numbers accurate, on time and ready for decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Record all fee receipts, expenses and bank entries daily in Tally Prime for both branches.

- Track fee collection and pending fees for every child; share a daily and weekly dues report.

- Do bank and cash reconciliation daily; keep the cash book and petty cash accurate.

- Handle vendor bills and payments, staff salary sheets, attendance-based payroll and advances.

- Manage GST, TDS and statutory compliance with our CA; keep all records audit-ready.

- Prepare a monthly P&L for each branch, including fixed costs and gross profit per child.

- Update our Google Sheets / MIS dashboards on time and flag any mismatch the same day.

- Coordinate with the counsellors, front desk and management on fees, refunds and discounts.

Requirements

- B.Com / M.Com (or equivalent).

- 2+ years of experience as an accountant (school, institute or service business experience is a plus).

- Strong knowledge of Tally Prime, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation and payroll.

- Good in MS Excel / Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).

- Accurate, honest, disciplined with deadlines and comfortable working with checklists and systems.

- Panipat-based candidates preferred.
