About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a background in the agrochemical industry and strong knowledge of factory accounting operations. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Google Sheets, MS Excel, invoice management, inward and outward entries, and inventory-related accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including purchase and sales entries.
• Handle factory accounting operations, including material inward and outward transactions.
• Prepare, verify, and maintain purchase invoices, sales invoices, delivery challans, and related documents.
• Record and reconcile goods received, stock movements, dispatches, and inventory transactions.
• Maintain accurate accounting records for raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and other factory-related expenses.
• Coordinate with the factory, warehouse, purchase, sales, and logistics teams to ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), stock registers, and inward/outward records.
• Perform vendor and customer ledger reconciliation and follow up on discrepancies.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports using MS Excel and Google Sheets.
• Assist in bank reconciliation, expense tracking, and other routine accounting activities.
• Ensure proper filing of invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Support GST-related documentation and other statutory accounting requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce (B.Com preferred).
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the agrochemical or chemical manufacturing industry.
• Strong hands-on experience in factory accounting and inventory management.
• Good knowledge of GST, including GST invoicing, input tax credit (ITC), GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GST reconciliation, and e-way bills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets, including formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
• Hands-on experience in purchase and sales invoicing, material inward/outward entries, GRN, and stock reconciliation.
• Knowledge of Tally Prime or other accounting/ERP software.
• Ability to maintain accurate accounting records, verify invoices, and coordinate with factory, warehouse, purchase, and sales teams.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates currently working in the agrochemical, pesticide, crop protection, or chemical manufacturing industry.
• Candidates with hands-on experience in factory accounts, inventory accounting, and invoice management.
• Candidates who can independently manage accounting documentation and coordinate with factory and office teams.
