Acciona Energy India is currently looking for candidates for the position of Electrical Engineering Lead in Engineering and Construction Department. Job Description Mission: Execute the Construction area s activities, in coordination with the Engineering team, Project Management area and all other participating departments. Responsibilities: 1. Strong experience and foundation in a technical role in the areas of electrical engineering and SCADA systems. 2. Experience in the Interstate Transmission System (ISTS) based Solar and/or wind projects. 3. Experience in the use of industry standard software AutoCAD 3D and other calculation software packages. 4. Early project phase network connection feasibility assessments, design optioneering studies, value engineering, risks, safety (including Safety in Design). 5. Work collaboratively with grid connection team to develop of electrical balance of plant design solutions that support the project s compliance with Indian Electricity Grid Code. 6. Engagement with TNSPs and private grid network operators to confirm physical connection constraints and requirements for development projects. 7. Concept and detailed electrical design delivery for solar farms and wind farms projects 8. Participate in project constructability reviews including site based and desktop assessments. 9. Support project CAPEX and construction schedule development for project financial investment decisions 10. Develop contract technical specifications and scopes of work and assist with the negotiation of procurement agreements for electrical design and construction works. 11. Perform engineering due diligence reviews and design management for design works outsourced to external consultants and EPC contractors. 12. Provide support to the Project Delivery Teams through the construction and handover phases. Support requirements including responding to construction RFIs, resolution of design implementation issues. Regular site visits will be required. 13. Coordinate with the onsite project energization and commissioning process including SCADA, protection systems commissioning, and grid code testing. 14. Provide technical advice on electrical engineering failures or incidents. Provide technical advice for upgrades or modifications to operational infrastructure. 15. Develop contract technical specifications and scopes of works as required to support operation phase rectification works. 16. Provide commissioning support to the operations team for system upgrades when required. 17. Provide professional electrical engineering advice regarding in-house developments, bids and delivery of third-party Engineering, Procurement and Construction projects and operational assets. 18. Assist in the development of tender documents for submission of external bids and other contracting opportunities. 19. Maintain strong working relationships with head-office, internal and external stakeholders. 20. Maintain and improve the technical standards and company procedures. Job Responsibility: Reviewing and commenting on commercial and technical tender terms and conditions. Need to prepare Daily Generation report & Insurance related documents for Business interruption & Material failure. 26. Having thorough knowledge of Microsoft tools 27. Supporting and being ready for all internal, external audits, legal audits, CEIG inspections at windfarm time to time. 28.
