Position Overview: The Senior Business Systems Analyst is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for the strategic management and optimization of our CRM, PSA, and SMP platforms. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of business processes to ensure our systems are aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. A strong understanding of the Salesforce platform is essential, as the candidate will manage and optimize our Salesforce environment to support business processes and drive operational efficiency. Additionally, experience managing data within Professional Services Automation (PSA) and Subscription Management Platforms (SMP), along with a working knowledge of business analytics, is crucial. This role is perfect for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to driving continuous improvement and innovation within our business systems.Key Responsibilities:User Management:Create and manage user accounts, profiles, and roles.Ensure proper access control and security settings.User administration including onboarding, offboarding, and handling changes in roles and grades.Data Management:Import, export, and maintain data quality.Create and manage custom fields and objects.Implement data validation rules aligned with business requirements.Automate system tasks by implementing data-driven workflows.Implement and manage process automation tools such as Process Builder, Flow, and Workflow Rules.Configure, activate and maintain engagements and orders including financial data, start date management, and renewals.End orders and create new products.Manage Products and Pricebooks across platformsManage timesheets and period closing activities.Customisation:Customise systems to meet the specific needs of the organization.Create and manage custom apps, tabs, and page layouts.Reporting and Dashboards:Creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualisations to support business decision-making.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.Ensure data accuracy and integrity in visualisations.Customise report types and fields to meet specific reporting needs.Schedule and automate report delivery.Participate in data governance initiatives to ensure compliance with data policies.Security and Compliance:Design and manage Identity and Access Management policies for all CRM, PSA and SMP platforms to control user access to critical information.Integration:Integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications to optimise the opportunity to cash workflow.Manage data synchronisation and ensure seamless integration.Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with connectors.Training and Support:Provide training and support to end-users on systems workflows and rules.Create and maintain documentation and training materials.Address user questions and resolve issues raised through Jira with regards to opportunity, engagement and order troubleshooting and resolution.Work with other PMO Analysts to train on the usability and functionalityAct as the subject matter expert on all escalated and complex user requests and issues.Release Management:Stay updated with releases and new features rolled out by CRM, PSA and SMP platforms.Test new features and functionalities to determine which should be promoted to business stakeholders.Collaboration:Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements for opportunity to cash workflows.Collaborate with portfolio owners and engagement managers for effective management of opportunities, engagements and orders making adjustments as needed.Assist with business-critical requests and proactive improvements.Change Management:Manage changes to the business systems processes ensuring smooth transitions.Document and communicate changes to stakeholders and provide necessary training.Commercial Governance:Create and manage governance dashboards.Perform monthly follow-ups with stakeholders.Capture monthly snapshots and store them in a centralised repository.Period closing activitiesOversee projects and programs set up to ensure all standards are met.Ensure engagements and orders are set up accurately on respective systems and adhere to contractual terms and conditions.Timesheet maintenance and engagement governance follow-up with end-users each month.Requirements:7+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst capacity bridging the gap between business requirements and systems and processes.Exceptional Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex issues and derive actionable insights from data.Superior Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective in conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders and fostering collaborative relationships.Multitasking and Project Management: Proven capability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.Meticulous Organisational Skills: Highly organised with a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks.Professional Services Automation (PSA) Experience: Extensive experience in user administration and engagement management within a PSA platform or similar environment.Salesforce Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a preference for candidates holding a Salesforce Administrator Certification.Business Systems Analysis: At least 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a corporate setting, with a track record of driving system improvements and efficiencies.Project Management Proficiency: Familiarity with various project management methodologies;
