About the Project – AstroDating App We are building a next-generation AstroDating platform that combines: Astrology-based compatibility (birth details, charts, match scores) Speed dating & meetups Location-based venue suggestions Real-time user interaction The app helps users connect not just by swipes, but by cosmic compatibility, timing, and proximity . Key Responsibilities Frontend Development Build modern, mobile-first UI using React / Next.js Implement: Match & compatibility screens Birth details input (DOB, time, place) Venue selector (cafés, parks, lounges) Live map & meetup flow Integrate interactive maps and smooth animations Optimize performance for mobile browsers Backend Development Develop APIs using Node.js (Express / NestJS) Implement astrology logic: Birth chart data handling Compatibility scoring (rule-based or API-driven) Manage real-time features: Speed match sessions Temporary live location sharing Meetup expiry logic Integrate third-party services: Maps & location APIs Places & venue search Design scalable and secure database schemas Privacy, Safety & Trust Handle sensitive user data (birth time/place) securely Consent-based location sharing Auto-disable tracking after meetup completion Build safety-first UX for dating interactions Required Skills Must Have JavaScript / TypeScript React or Next.js Node.js REST API development Experience with real-time features (Firebase / WebSockets) Basic understanding of geolocation & maps Git & collaborative workflows Nice to Have Experience with dating, astrology, or matchmaking apps Familiarity with OpenStreetMap / MapTiler / Mapbox Knowledge of astrology concepts (Kundli, Nakshatra, compatibility) Experience with Firebase, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB UI/UX sensitivity for consumer apps What Makes This Role Exciting Work on a unique fusion of astrology + dating + tech High ownership & real product impact Opportunity to shape matching logic & user experience Learn and apply location-based and real-time systems Growth opportunity as the platform scales How to Apply Please share: Resume / LinkedIn GitHub or portfolio (if available) Short note on: Any dating, astrology, or real-time apps you’ve worked on Why this project excites you Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fresher, Internship, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance, Volunteer Contract length: 6 months Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month Expected hours: 48 per week Work Location: In person
