Job Title: Accountant Experience: 35 years Education: M.Com or CA Inter Email: hr@aaplsolutions.com The accountant will manage daytoday accounting for a trading company with overseas subsidiaries, including books of account, inventory and jobwork accounting, statutory compliances, and support in consolidation and management reporting. Key responsibilities Record and maintain daytoday accounting of purchase, sales (domestic and export), expenses, bank, and journal vouchers in the ERP/Tally. • Maintain itemwise inventory records for all materials, including GRN, stock movements, wastage/scrap, jobwork consumption, and finished goods. • Prepare and review trial balance, ledgers, and supporting schedules; assist in finalization of accounts under applicable standards. • Handle indirect tax compliances (GST on goods, exports with/without payment of tax, LUT, refunds where applicable, einvoicing, eway bills) and TDS/TCS compliances. • Perform regular bank, vendor, customer, and intercompany reconciliations, including transactions with overseas subsidiaries (sales, services, reimbursements, loans/advances). • Support preparation of monthly MIS: sales by product/customer/geography, contribution analysis, inventory ageing, debtor ageing, and basic cost analysis for processing activities. • Assist in yearend and periodic statutory, internal, and tax audits by preparing schedules (inventory, debtors, creditors, GST/TDS reconciliation, fixed assets, etc.). • Coordinate with logistics and commercial teams for export documentation, realization tracking, Forex entries, and bank compliance for export/import transactions. • Ensure timely monthend closing entries such as provisions, prepayments, foreign exchange gain/loss, and other accruals. Required qualifications and skills • M.Com or CA Inter with 3-5 years of experience in accounting; experience in a trading/manufacturing or processing company preferred. • Good understanding of inventory and costrelated entries (stock valuation, consumption, wastage, jobwork). • Working knowledge of GST and TDS for goods trading and jobwork/processing activities; exposure to exports/imports is an advantage. • Proficiency in Tally or similar ERP and strong working knowledge of MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, basic MIS formats). • Ability to handle reconciliations, large transactional volumes, and maintain accuracy and documentation. • Strong coordination and communication skills to work with operations, logistics, and overseas counterparts.
