Open Position: General Physician Vision Source LLP operating as India Eye Hospital in Greater Noida is a social enterprise committed to providing high-quality, affordable, and high-volume eye care. Currently, we operate a modern facility located inside Ansal Plaza Mall, next to Pari Chowk Metro Station in Greater Noida. Our current facility meets NABH entry level eye care standards. To further expand access to care, especially in rural communities, India Eye Hospital operates Vision Centers in Surajpur and Rabupura. We plan to add eight more VCs within the next year. These centers provide essential eye care services closer to where people live. India Eye Hospital is committed to eliminating unnecessary blindness in Uttar Pradesh by establishing a network of modern eye hospitals and research centers across the state. The hospital is guided by Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, Darya Ganj, Delhi and LAICO – Aravind Eye Care System. Operating in Greater Noida since 2023, we have already performed 1400 cataract surgeries mostly using Phaco. We plan to conduct 2,800 cataract surgeries, mostly using Phaco techniques. Over the next three years, we are setting up a Super Specialty Eye Hospital with 16 Operating Theaters and 12 Clinics in Greater Noida, Knowledge Park 3 on a seven-acre plot. We are being guided by LAICO – Aravind, Dr. Shroff’s Eye Hospital, Darya Ganj, Delhi and leading eye surgeons from USA. Our sister organization, Kabeer Excellence Foundation supports 130 government aided secondary schools in 27 UP districts where we conduct eye screening camps for eye and wellness examinations (www.excellence.foundation). Job Description: As a Physician at India Eye, you will play a vital role in supporting our eye surgeons in diagnosing and treating elevated blood pressure sugar levels in our patients. You will conduct comprehensive physical examinations, assist in diagnosing health risks, and contribute to the overall success of our eye care initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Assess patients for overall fitness for outpatient cataract surgery Treat patients for elevated sugar levels and blood pressure to help them get ready for cataract surgery Assist Ophthalmologists with pre-surgical procedures, local anesthesia, and help during surgery Follow up with patients at Vision Centers and community eye screening camps (two per week) to help them improve their fitness for cataract surgery Train Ophthalmic Assistants, Optometrists, and other support staff on common diseases related to eye care Lead government secondary school screening program by training nurses and Ophthalmic Assistants Conduct screening camps efficiently and counsel students, teachers, and parents. Perform post-operative patient follow-ups at Vision Centers and screening camps Counsel patients before and post-surgery for great outcomes Travel is required to various districts in UP for secondary school screening programs Candidate Profile: MBBS degree from a leading medical college Proficiency in conducting comprehensive health examinations Strong communication and interpersonal skills in Hindi Commitment to ongoing professional development. Key Responsibilities: Assess patients and meticulously document findings, followed by clear initials with a signature, date, and time. Perform accurate refractions, prescribe glasses in a clearly specified format, and ensure timely delivery of prescriptions to our in-house optical counter. Conduct diagnostics and OPD procedures, including Slit Lamp examination, Applanation Tonometry, Keratometry, A-scan Biometry, Visual Field analysis, and more. Clearly specify provisional diagnoses and provide notes on the optometry-based management plan. Communicate instructions clearly to the Patient Care staff regarding the planned procedures. Take on the responsibility for training Ophthalmic Assistants. Oversee optometry processes during camps. Perform post-operative patient follow-ups at VC's and camp sites. Job Description: As the Operations Executive at India Eye Hospital, you will be responsible for leading the team by example to achieve budgeted targets through proactive and effective leadership. You will organize, demonstrate, direct, engage and monitor day-to-day operational issues in relation to the policies of India Eye Hospital. Key Responsibilities: 1. Achieve Targets set in Annual Business Plan: Lead the development of the Annual Business Plan for the hospital. Achieve the budgeted revenue and overall surgical volume (Surgical: Paid/Free/Subsidy) Revenue Generation: Walk in surgeries and maintain ratios. Surgeries through empanelment’s such as Ayushman Bharat and other authorized programs. Optical Demand Generation. Plan and execute demand generation and marketing activities to achieve the objectives mentioned above. Take an active role in managing the Management Information System (MIS), developing action plans, and engaging with key stakeholders to address any identified gaps. 2. Cost Management: Implement cost-saving measures to ensure control over wasteful expenses. Conduct regular cost analyses related to surgeries, procedures, and OPDs to maximize resource utilization. Monitor patient acquisition costs and take measures to maintain control over them. 3. HR and Administration: To provide an effective leadership role. To implement all policies and processes as announced by base hospital from time to time. To represent the hospital regarding legal matters at the local level as per the guidance of the base hospital To build and leverage network to effectively liaise with Govt and Non Govt stakeholders in all matters pertaining to smooth functioning of your centre. 7. Finance and Inventory management: To ensure implementation of all relevant processes and systems and checks To continuously monitor overheads, identify and implement ideas of cost efficiencies.
