Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer for technical development of a comprehensive loan management system for our nonprofit organization in US using Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will architect complex business logic, mentor junior developers, and ensure the successful delivery of a mission-critical financial system. Primary Responsibilities Leadership & Technical Direction (20%) Serve as the technical lead and primary code reviewer for all development work Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and technical best practices Make architectural decisions and technical trade-offs in consultation with Solutions Architect Provide technical mentorship and guidance to mid-level developers Lead design discussions and technical brown bag sessions Apex Development & Custom Logic (40%) Design and implement complex Apex classes, triggers, and batch processes for loan lifecycle management Develop custom business logic for loan origination, approval workflows, payment processing, interest accrual, collections, and compliance tracking Implement asynchronous processing using Batch Apex and Queueable interfaces Write comprehensive unit tests with 85%+ code coverage Optimize SOQL queries and Apex for performance and governor limits Lightning & Frontend Development (30%) Design and develop Lightning Web Components (LWC) for critical user-facing features Create custom Lightning pages for loan origination, payment application, and portfolio dashboards Implement responsive designs compatible with desktop and mobile browsers Integration Architecture (10%) Design and implement REST/SOAP API integrations with external systems Develop middleware solutions or API wrappers for third-party system communication Set up comprehensive logging and monitoring for integration health Required Qualifications Experience & Credentials 5+ years of professional Salesforce development experience (2+ years in senior/lead capacity) Salesforce Certified Developer (Advanced Developer or Solutions Engineer Certificate required) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience Experience with at least 2 complete end-to-end Salesforce implementations Technical Skills - Required Expert-level Apex Development: trigger design, asynchronous processing, exception handling, governor limit optimization Lightning Development: LWC development, lifecycle management, JavaScript ES6+, HTML/CSS Data Modeling: custom objects, relationships, schema optimization Integration Development: REST/SOAP APIs, authentication, error handling Development Tools: Git, CI/CD pipelines, Salesforce CLI, debugging tools
