Role Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sr. Digital Forensic Analyst with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in conducting forensic investigations, analysing digital evidence and supporting cybersecurity incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of forensic tools, incident response, and legal procedures associated with evidence handling Key Responsibility: Lead and manage digital forensic investigations involving internal policy violations, cyber threats, legal matters, and employee misconduct. Collect, preserve, and analyse digital evidence from diverse sources including endpoints, servers, mobile devices, cloud environments, storage media etc.. Ensure forensic soundness and maintain a strict chain of custody for all evidence. Utilize industry-leading forensic tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK, Magnet AXIOM, Cellebrite, Oxygen, XRY etc.) to extract and examine and interpret data. Develop detailed forensic reports and presentations suitable for both legal proceedings and executive-level briefings. Train and mentor junior forensic analysts, interns, and team members on forensic methodologies, tools, and best practices. Deliver regular internal training sessions and workshops on forensic techniques and emerging threats. Provide hands-on training sessions and workshops for internal teams on digital forensics tools, techniques, and best practices. Mentor and guide junior forensic analysts and interns to strengthen internal capabilities and knowledge-sharing. Research and recommend new forensic hardware, software, and methodologies to improve investigation capabilities. Maintain expert-level knowledge of the latest threats, digital forensic tools, and trends in the cyber forensic domain. Contribute to the enhancement of digital forensic procedures, SOPs, and toolsets. candidate should be open to travel as per project or business needs. Flexibility and willingness to travel to client locations or company branches across regions is expected. Stay current with the latest developments in digital forensics, including new file system formats, mobile forensics techniques, and emerging forensic tools. Qualifications Graduation from Science or Technical background. Preference will be M.Sc. – Forensic Science Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in digital forensics or incident response. Proficient in using forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, Autopsy, Cellebrite, or similar. Strong understanding of file systems, operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), and networking fundamentals. Knowledge of laws and regulations relating to data privacy and digital evidence handling. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as GCFA, CHFI, EnCE, or CCE.
