Tax Manager - US Accounting & Taxation chennai 7 - 9 years INR 35.0 - 40.0 Lacs P.A. Hybrid Full Time

Role & responsibilities We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Manager with strong expertise in U.S. taxation and accounting. The ideal candidate will become an important and productive member of our team. In this role, you will: Prepare and review moderate and complex business and Personal income tax returns, including Form 1040, 1120 (C-Corp and S-Corp), 1065 (Partnership), and other mandatory federal and state returns. Prepare and review of trust and Estate Tax returns Provide Leadership and guidance to other Professionals in the office Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and stay current with updates in U.S. tax laws. Support and enhance internal controls and recommend process improvements. Expand technical and professional Knowledge through more significant exposure to new Client situations, regular Self-study and formal training Opportunities. Our tax professionals typically work 40 hours a week during non-busy season, and 55-60 hours a week during busy season. The office is closed on Sundays Preferred candidate profile The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of U.S. tax laws, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex financial tasks in a fast-paced environment. 7+ years of experience in accounting/taxation, preferably in public accounting or tax advisory firms. In-depth knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax laws. Proven expertise in preparing and filing U.S. tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. Masters degree in finance or accounting CPA or EA certification strongly preferred. High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively . High level of integrity, Leadership and Professionalism

Job Description / Responsibilities We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Tax Associate with strong expertise in U.S. taxation and accounting. In this role, you will: Prepare and review IRS tax filings, including Form 1040, 1120 (C-Corp and S-Corp), 1065 (Partnership), 1099 , and other mandatory federal and state returns. Manage general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations , and oversee month-end/year-end closing . Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements . Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and stay current with updates in U.S. tax laws. Support and enhance internal controls and recommend process improvements. Provide Leadership and guidance to other professionals in the Office. Our tax professionals typically work 40 hours a week during non-busy season, and 55-60 hours a week during busy season. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Lacerte, or similar accounting/tax software . Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities. Strong time management skills and the ability to handle sensitive financial data with discretion.
