Vacuum Forming Machine Operator

Role & responsibilities

Operate and monitor vacuum forming machines as per production plans.

• Perform machine setup, mold changing, parameter setting, and trial runs.
• Ensure proper heating, forming, trimming, and cooling of plastic sheets.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections as per quality standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot machine or process-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain production records, rejection reports, and machine logs.
• Ensure optimum utilization of raw materials and minimize wastage.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Tool Room teams for smooth operations.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and report machine abnormalities.
• Maintain 5S standards and ensure workplace cleanliness.
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and company policies during operations.
