US Accounting & Bookkeeping Staff

Work Timing:

Role & responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping for US-based clients.
• Record and categorize income, expenses, bills, invoices, and other transactions.
• Perform

  bank and credit card reconciliations

  .
• Maintain accurate accounts receivable and accounts payable records.
• Prepare and review

  Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet

  reports.
• Handle month-end and year-end bookkeeping activities.
• Maintain general ledger and ensure proper account classification.
• Assist with cleanup and catch-up bookkeeping projects.
• Work with

  QuickBooks Online (QBO)

  and other accounting software.
• Review client books for accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Communicate with senior accountants/reviewers regarding accounting issues.
• Follow established accounting procedures, SOPs, and quality-control processes.
• Maintain proper documentation and supporting records for client transactions.
• Work according to US business hours as required.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience with any of the following will be an advantage:

• QuickBooks Online / QuickBooks Desktop
• Stripe
• Gusto
• ADP
• Payroll accounting
• Sales tax accounting
• S-Corporation / LLC bookkeeping
• US-based accounting clients
