Job Description

Responsibilities: Provide support to TAR Scope development squads during the scope optimization phase to challenge and optimize non-mandatory score through a risk based objective approach. Drive a robust analysis through activities such as: - Evaluation of reliability data to justify the scope; - Evaluation of the likelihood and consequence doing nothing; - Evaluation of likelihood and consequence of the mitigation; - Is there an alternate way to mitigate the risk; - Validate cost-benefit analysis and establish an acceptable risk threshold; - Test if there is a deferral option. Collaboration and integration between TAR Integrated Scope Delivery Advisors (ISDAs), TAR Site teams, and the various disciplines submitting scope. - Working with the Sites to collect inputs, evaluate, and risk assess non-mandatory TAR scope submissions; - Support the Scope Development Squads through multi-disciplinary challenge sessions; - Data analytics & preparation of preliminary scope recommendation; - Assist the ISDAs with self-verification checklist completion and Peer Review 2 participation; - Support ISDAs as required to review of scope change requests entered into the eSCR tool to challenge scope change and evaluate risks appropriately. Coach, mentor, and educate the organization to adopt a risk-based method for evaluating scope to deliver an outcome where: - High-risk work is understood; - Non-value work is eliminated; - Less costly alternatives will be identified; - Identification of work that drives equipment reliability; - Move personal preference and bias to a more objective selection based on risk.
