A Day in Your Life at MKS: In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager for EMEAI and work closely with Corporate C&B Leaders, HR Business Partners, and Business Leaders. This role requires a resilient and collaborative personality with project management skills and a strong analytical and conceptual mindset, coupled with strong execution skills and a strong awareness of quality. Your role will primarily be to act as a total rewards expert for India and to support projects in the area of compensation and social benefits. Inquisitiveness, strong mathematical and Excel skills are essential. You Will Make an Impact By: Implement global and local compensation and benefits programs, policies and procedures that are compelling, competitive, equitable and locally compliant Research and evaluates external competitiveness and internal alignment of total rewards; research industry trends and provides recommendations. Provide ad hoc analytical compensation support and job assessments, market pricing analysis as needed, may lead market pricing data collection and analysis efforts. Actively participate in the successful implementation and administration of Workday Advanced Compensation, including our short-term and long-term incentive programs and merit cycle Key contributor to significant global compensation projects including compensation grades, survey benchmarking, global salary structure design and implementation. Oversee all facets of employee benefits plan design, policies, budgets and operations, along with being responsible for analysis of the effectiveness of the country’s various benefit plans and programs. Key contributor to implement and maintain global benefits and recognition program including but not limited to wellness, benefits harmonization, global recognition and benefits minimum standards. Develops engaging and informative communication programs designed to keep employees and management knowledgeable about company benefit plans. Negotiate vendor relationships, administer contracts and monitor performance to ensure high degree of effectiveness. Connect with local universities regarding skill development and job progression. Advise the local HRBP on day-to-day compensation, benefits, and mobility work (e.g. job mapping, compensation proposals, global salary levels and ranges, performance reviews, renewals and employee communications, HR and corporate C&B training, labor relations process support, international mobility framework, etc.) Key support for global compensation and benefits during M&A integration efforts; several initiatives underway Other projects and duties as required, including proactive data audits and reconciliations. Skills You Bring: Bachelor’s degree with Finance, Accounting, Economics and/or Mathematics preferred emphasis At least 7 years with hands-on-experience in the field of Compensation & Benefits within India (e.g. reviewing & benchmarking compensation proposals, monitoring the local medical plans IPD/OPD, daily support to HR and business on C&B related topics, project management, etc.). Local experience in high-tech companies Language skills: English & Hindi – Fluent Working knowledge with Workday Critical thinking with the ability to research and analyze data from various sources to identify problems and make appropriate recommendations and influence decisions Strong Excel and analytical skills, good knowledge of Radford, WTW and Mercer salary and performance surveys and benchmark methodologies Effective communication and organizational skills Highly organized with a strong attention to detail Show more Show less
