Position Technical Sales head Job Location-Guwahati Base B.Tech /Diploma in civil only apply for this role. Job role: Min 15-20 years in technical sales either in cement/building material/TMT Age upto 45 years Manage and motivate a team of technical sales representatives to achieve sales targets within assigned territories. Set individual and team sales goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback. Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Technical Expertise: Provide technical support to customers, addressing their concerns regarding product selection, usage, and quality. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings to ensure competitive advantage. Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key customers, including contractors, architects, engineers, and distributors. Identify potential new customers and develop business opportunities within assigned territory. Conduct site visits, presentations, and technical consultations to understand customer needs and propose appropriate cement solutions. Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify potential sales opportunities. Develop targeted sales strategies and marketing plans to effectively reach key customer segments. Conduct market research to identify new product development needs or market expansion opportunities. Pricing and Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with customers while ensuring profitability and alignment with company policies. Prepare quotations and proposals based on customer requirements and project specifications. Reporting and Analysis: Regularly monitor sales performance and provide detailed sales reports to senior management. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Proven experience in technical sales within the cement industry, preferably with a leadership role. Strong technical knowledge of cement production, properties, and construction applications. Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate technical information to customers. Ability to build strong customer relationships and manage complex sales cycles. Leadership skills to motivate and manage a sales team effectively.
